Preserving with Stone Fruits

So many stone fruits to choose from - what will you make in our live workshop? at Rosie's Preserving School UK
The description Stone fruits covers quite a lot of ground - essentially any fruit where the flesh surrounds a central stone and could be cherries, sloes, damsons, plums, peaches - apricots, that kind of thing. The stone protects the seed which is inside the hard outer casing. In this workshop we won't be making with all types of stone fruit but the ideas and recipes will be adaptable to whatever you have chosen as your favourite.

There are so many recipes that we could consider as in the fruit world you get a lot of bang for your bucks - there is a lot of flesh around that stone usually so just remove it and you are good to go. It will be great to experiment and adapt to see what we can come up with - we have most of our Tool Kits now so its time to innovate!

Our Workshops are friendly, no experience of cooking or preserving is necessary and we try to use everyday, familiar equipment. You can cook along with the Live Workshop or use the recording which will be place in The Library of the School soon after the Workshop finishes

So, take advantage of the block booking discounts to access all of the Season's Workshops with the security of knowing you won't miss anything.

We look forward to meeting you and welcoming you to our preserving family

I've thoroughly enjoyed your workshops over the last year and have learnt so much about preserving - there's a whole world out there, not just jams! Your warm and friendly approach is greatly appreciated, and you answer all our questions with endless patience. Thanks for giving me the confidence to experiment - as you say, what could go wrong?!
