Used as a culinary herb ( as opposed to a medicinal herb ) it just pairs brilliantly with poultry, pork and sausages.
Quite a few pressure canning recipes list it as an ingredient but it can sometimes become bitter when processed. Best to add when you are reheating the food to be on the safe side.
