Blackberry Bounty

Blackberries are delicious, perfect for preserves and are also free if you know where to look at Rosie's Preserving School UK
Blackberries! There for the taking - combine a lovely Autumn walk with a spot of blackberrying and there is so much that you can make with them.

Use a handful cooked with apple and make the Apple Curd from last week into Blackberry and Apple Curd. Cordial, jam, even chutney. Freeze some for later.

The thing is, everytime you use them whether as a crumble, jam on a Winter crumpet, a hot Blackberry Cordial toddy - you will remember those Autumn Days when you went blackberrying. Maybe you were with friends, perhaps you had little ones scootering or on a little bike with purple fingers from eating the fruits. Those memories will be stored away with whatever you make.

In our live Workshop we will be making a delicious cordial ready for Christmas to make those hot toddies or as a warming drink for everyone.

Our Workshops are friendly, no experience of cooking or preserving is necessary and we try to use everyday, familiar equipment. You can cook along with the Live Workshop or use the recording which will be place in The Library of the School soon after the Workshop finishes

So, take advantage of the block booking discounts to access all of the Season's Workshops with the security of knowing you won't miss anything.

We look forward to meeting you and welcoming you to our preserving family

I've thoroughly enjoyed your workshops over the last year and have learnt so much about preserving - there's a whole world out there, not just jams! Your warm and friendly approach is greatly appreciated, and you answer all our questions with endless patience. Thanks for giving me the confidence to experiment - as you say, what could go wrong?!
