The scent of vanilla conjours up the warmth and vision of the Spice Islands - blue skies, azure sea and beautiful flowers and forests. I don't know, I have never been there - but it is enough that they are conjoured up. Add vanilla to nearly any sweet recipe and it will be the better for it. Widely used in preserving, especially in bottled fruits and then with all of the Christmas products, don't be without them
