Juniper Berries are like blueberries - almost a superfood.
They are anti-inflammatory, antioxidant, antibacterial and antifungal! A principal botannical in the making of gin - it doesn't follow that gin is also a superfood!
Pair them in dark preserves like beetroot chutney - only use a small amount as they are very strong. Pickled red cabbage would be another good one or cook a couple of tablespoonfuls with damsons and eldeberries to make a rich flavoured jelly to serve with game
