What Is The Presto Pressure Canner?

The Presto pressure canner is a generous size and robustly engineered from quality aluminium with a durable polished finish. It has a very clear gauge to accurately measure the processing pressure. It is impossible to open the unit unless the pressure has been reduced to a safe level.

How Can I Use The Presto Pressure Canner?

The Presto 01781 Pressure Canner has a flat solid base and is suitable for electric, flat smooth-top, and gas hobs. It is not suitable for induction hobs (view 01784 induction model). Do not use on gas burners with a heat output above 12,000 BTUs, or outdoor LP gas burners whatever the rating. Please bear in mind the weight of a full canner and check your hob can accommodate it.
