Elderberry Cough Mixture

learn to make your own cough mixture from elderberries in online workshop at Rosie's Preserving School UK
Not to wish our time away but get ready for Winter with my Elderberry Cough Mixture. Soothing and pure. This is so deceptive because it absolutely isn't like the thick commercial cough syrups ( that's because it is not full of articficial sugar! )

It is so effective - just pour a small wine glass full and sip slowly two/three times per day - you will soon feel relief

The Elder Tree used to be called the Doctor Tree as the flowere and berries are so beneficial for all kinds of ailments. Every home would have at least one tree and usually adjacent to the back door to make it easily available for use in the kitchen

There are all sorts of ways to preserve the berries and, if nothing else, pick the berries and freeze them so that you can make plenty of this cough mixture later on

Our Workshops are friendly, no experience of cooking or preserving is necessary and we try to use everyday, familiar equipment. You can cook along with the Live Workshop or use the recording which will be place in The Library of the School soon after the Workshop finishes

So, take advantage of the block booking discounts to access all of the Season's Workshops with the security of knowing you won't miss anything.

We look forward to meeting you and welcoming you to our preserving family

I've thoroughly enjoyed your workshops over the last year and have learnt so much about preserving - there's a whole world out there, not just jams! Your warm and friendly approach is greatly appreciated, and you answer all our questions with endless patience. Thanks for giving me the confidence to experiment - as you say, what could go wrong?!
