Le Parfait Familia Wiss Screw Top Jar 1500ml

This is a fantastic jar for bottling or pressure canning. It is perfectly safe to use for all preserving purposes and will keep the contents in first rate condition. This type of jar is known by the generic 'Kilner Jar' but this French made jar is a heavierweight counterpart. Using a pressure canner, these jars are big enough to take meat, like chicken, or casseroles and cassoulets.

I've put over 100 jars through Rosie's TPS22 Pressure Canner in the past month, and it's been faultless. It's simple to use, holds pressure well, and feels solid and well made. I use it on both an induction hob and a woodfired Rayburn, and it performs brilliantly on both. If you're unsure because it's not a big American brand, don't be. It's a quality canner that works brilliantly. Customer service is second to none and I'm grateful to Rosie for going out of her way to make sure I got a great service. I'd buy it again in a heartbeat. (NB I wasn't paid for this review, it's an honest to goodness great product that I've ragged the past month without issues!)
