Homemade Holistic with Herbs

Homemade with Herbs for health and well-being. What a subject! A great subject for our live workshop at Rosie's Preserving School UK
Spring is the time for herbs, newly grown into the sunshine bursting with flavour and their 'powers'. In our second Handmade Holistic Workshop we will will be exploring the possibilites aiming to make a tincture with Lemon Balm, and to discuss how it can be used, how to make other tinctures and their uses. So, if you don't have any Lemon Balm around see if you can find some Rosemary , Thyme, Elderflower, Feverfew and just about any herb you can think of! This is vast subject and the Workshop is intended to spark your interest and prod you into doing some further research to make tinctures as the basis of a home medecine kit. Known as Simples for a very obvious reason, they have been relied upon for thousands of years by most cultures around the World.

Our Workshops are friendly, no experience of cooking or preserving is necessary and we try to use everyday, familiar equipment. You can cook along with the Live Workshop or use the recording which will be place in The Library of the School soon after the Workshop finishes

So, take advantage of the block booking discounts to access all of the Season's Workshops with the security of knowing you won't miss anything.

We look forward to meeting you and welcoming you to our preserving family

I've thoroughly enjoyed your workshops over the last year and have learnt so much about preserving - there's a whole world out there, not just jams! Your warm and friendly approach is greatly appreciated, and you answer all our questions with endless patience. Thanks for giving me the confidence to experiment - as you say, what could go wrong?!
