These Terms & Conditions apply to any purchases from thsi website but we want you to have the best shopping experience possible. If you have any problems at all we offer a full refund of the cost of the goods. A money back guarantee, no more, no less.However, we have to have some legal details so here goes!

  2. BUYER
    1. The 'Buyer' is the person who agrees to buy the goods from the Seller.
    1. After placing an order, you will receive an e-mailed acknowledgement which will contain your customer reference number.
    1. In accordance with The Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013, you may cancel a Contract at any time within 14 (fourteen) calendar days from the time of delivery.
    2. To cancel a Contract, you must inform us in writing or email (view our suggsted cancellation form). You must also return any Product(s) to us within 14 (fourteen) working days of the complaint and in their original condition and suitable for resale with. Any variation in the condition of the returned Product(s) may affect the amout of any refund. You will be liable for any postage or shipping costs that are involved in the returning of Product(s).
    3. No right to cancel exists in the case of a Contract for the supply of any Products made to special order.
    1. If a Product(s) is temporarily unavailable (unavailable but estimated to arrive within 21 days) we will continue to process the remaining Products. We will subsequently deliver the temporarily unavailable items at no extra cost to you.
    2. For the avoidance of doubt, any date for delivery is approximate only. Time is not of the essence as to the delivery of the Products and we are not in any circumstances liable for any delay in delivery, however caused.
    3. Delivery of an order shall be completed when we place the order at your disposal at the designated delivery address as per your order.
    4. Deliveries are made by a designated courier. For Mainland UK delivery times are Monday to Friday (except public holidays) between the hours of 8:00am until 6:00pm unless otherwise stated or pre-arranged with the Buyer.
    5. We are unable to deliver Orders to British Foreign Post Office Addresses or PO Box
    6. You accept responsibility for the accuracy of the Delivery information (Delivery Address) supplied in your Order and warrant that such information complies with our requirements. We do not accept liability for late or failed delivery due to incorrect address information or telephone number provided.
    7. You confirm that either you or a designated recipient will be available at the Delivery address to accept and sign for your Order within the Delivery Times.
    8. If Delivery is unsuccessful the Courier shall endeavour to leave details of tracking/collection of your order. Delivery may be attempted on the following working day.
    9. Your Order will be suitably packaged. In the unlikely event that your Order is damaged, please contact us and quote your Order number, by email to help@lovejars.co.uk
    10. It is your responsibility to ensure the goods received are correct as per your order. Any shortages or discrepancies must be reported to us within 3 working days, quoting your Order number, by email to help@lovejars.co.uk
    1. Risk shall pass at the time of delivery.
    1. The price of the Product(s) is in pounds sterling exclude any delivery charge, but include VAT at the rate lawful at the point of order.
    2. Payment of the cost of the order is due at the point the order is placed and no credit terms are implied or offered.
    3. The prices for Product(s), Delivery charges are all provided on a summary page prior to agreeing to place your order and make you payment.
    1. If you return a Product to us:
      1. because you have cancelled the Contract between us within the 14 day cooling-off period, we will process the refund due to you as soon as possible and, in any case, within 14 days of the day of receipt of the returned goods. In this case, we will refund the price of the Product(s) and any of the original delivery charges at the base rate, this excludes any premiums paid for upgrades or priority delivery services. Any variation in the condition of the returned Product(s) may affect the amout of any refund.
      2. for any other reason, we will examine the returned Product(s) and will notify you of your refund via e-mail within a reasonable period of time. We will usually process the refund due to you as soon as possible and, in any case, within 14 days of the day we confirmed to you via e-mail that you were entitled to a refund. We will refund the price of a defective Product(s) in full, any delivery costs
    2. A refund will be made by the same method originally used by you to pay for your purchase.
    1. We warrant to you that any Product purchased from us through our site will conform in all material respects with its description, be of satisfactory quality, and be reasonably fit for all the purposes for which products of that kind are commonly supplied. Product specifications are nominal, subject to manufacturers tolerances and subject to change without notice. Please enquire if you have a specific requirement prior to purchase.
    1. Nothing in this agreement excludes or limits our liability for:
      1. death or personal injury caused by our negligence;
      2. fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation;
      3. any breach of the obligations implied by section 12 of the Sale of Goods Act 1979 or section 2 of the Supply of Goods and Services Act 1982;
      4. defective products under the Consumer Protection Act 1987; [or]
      5. any other matter for which it would be illegal for us to exclude or attempt to exclude our liability.
    2. Subject to previous clause:
      1. we will not, under any circumstances whatsoever, be liable to you, for any loss of profit, or any indirect or consequential loss arising under or in connection with the Contract; and
      2. our total liability to you in respect of all other losses arising under or in connection with the Contract, shall in no circumstances exceed the purchase price of the Products.
    1. We will not be liable or responsible for any failure to perform, or delay in performance of, any of our obligations under a Contract that is caused by events outside our reasonable control (Force Majeure Event).
    1. If any court or competent authority decides that any of the provisions of these terms and Conditions or any provisions of a Contract are invalid, unlawful or unenforceable to any extent, the term will, to that extent only, be severed from the remaining terms, which will continue to be valid to the fullest extent permitted by law.
    1. All terms, conditions and warranties relating to the quality or/or fitness for purpose of the goods or any of the goods are excluded unless expressly agreed in writing by the seller.
    1. We have the right to revise and amend these terms and conditions from time to time.
    1. This contract is subject to the law of England and Wales.
